    Hey Sherry.

    I stumbled upon your blog while combing the internet for information about Peace Corps generally and about Peace Corps-South Africa specifically. I was recently nominated to a NGO Development position leaving for Africa in July/August. I’ll probably accept a placement anywhere, but I have a strong interest in South Africa in particular and am hoping that’s the country I get – then it’d be a no-brainer. I’m in the medical/dental/legal review stage at the moment.

    Anyways, I just wanted to say thanks for posting such detailed information about the application process. It’s great to get a little preview of what I can expect in the comming weeks and months. Like you, I’ve been incredibly anxious to hear back from the Peace Corps folks at every stage in the process and just can’t soak up enough information – offical or unoffical. So, again, thanks so much!
